The stated remit of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Corporation (NATSIEC) is to be the peak independent community-controlled national body dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education. The Corporation provides community-informed advocacy and strategic advice to Australian governments on education policies and projects of national importance.

Note that edutech no longer has any role or association with NATSIEC.
